Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer cutouts for sockets or light switches on any of our wall panelling products.
All our panelling products our made of MDF so cutting at home is an option, you will need a jigsaw and some sandpaper.
Mark the Hole: Start by marking the location and size of the socket hole on the MDF. Use a pencil and a template or the actual socket to outline the hole's dimensions accurately.
Drill a Pilot Hole: Drill a small pilot hole inside the marked area using a drill and a bit that is slightly larger than your jigsaw blade. This hole will serve as an entry point for the jigsaw.
Cut the Hole: Insert a jigsaw into the pilot hole and carefully cut along the marked outline. Keep the jigsaw steady and follow the line closely to ensure a clean cut. If the hole is large, make several smaller cuts if necessary.
Smooth the Edges: After cutting, use a sanding block or a fine-grit sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges around the hole.
Check the Fit: Test the socket to ensure it fits properly. Make any necessary adjustments by carefully trimming or sanding the edges.
